The selection of organizations listed below are supported by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We encourage you to get involved and begin building your network within these reputable communities!

Men in Nursing

The objective of Men in Nursing is to facilitate communication among the students, faculty, and administration of the University Park site, the Commonwealth Campuses, and the Milton S. Hershey Medical center sites for the purposes of providing opportunities for the networking and mentoring, assist interested males with information in choosing nursing as their major, promote men’s health, influence factors that affect men as nurses, and join with all nursing students and nurses in providing services and support for the underprivileged. Multicultural Student Nursing Association

MSNA is an organization at Penn State that is dedicated to bringing together the diverse community of nursing students and creating a safe space for them. MSNA’s goal is to help such students create community that will help them succeed as Nursing students. The organization offers mentoring and outreach throughout the year to current and incoming students. Events are held throughout the year to further strengthen the relationship students have with each other, as well as faculty members in the college. Learn more »

The Student Nurses Association at Penn State

The Student Nurses Association at Penn State (SNAPS) offers a great way to not only meet other students, but to get involved with community service events, professional development opportunities, THON, and more. SNAPS provides opportunities for engagement in the organization at the local, state, and national levels. Learn more »
