Delirium is common, costly, and a significant burden for individuals and healthcare systems. Nursing-driven screening tools and management strategies for delirium are frequently seen in the literature, but there is work to be done in selecting the best tool for the population and setting. This presentation will explore the literature regarding screening tools and management strategies, and also explore the facilitators and barriers to real-world implementation in an academic medical center.
