Celebrating Penn State traditions are sweeter when shared with family. Parents and families of University Park students are invited to enjoy Penn State traditions during Parents and Families Weekend held October 8-10, 2021. Health and safety recommendations will guide the University’s decision to host an in-person or virtual event.

• The weekend’s events begin midday Friday and end on Sunday afternoon.
• Lodging fills quickly in the State College area, visit the Parents Program website to explore options. Confirm cancellation policies before making reservations.
• Overall registration and most events are free; however, some events require a ticket purchase or additional registration. The registration date is not set.
• The event schedule will be posted prior to the registration date and will include details about events requiring ticket purchases.
